Description of Technology:
The muscle biology program at Michigan State University has developed over 100 high-quality primary muscle cell lines for research purposes. These non-genetically modified cell lines have been isolated from donor cattle using methodologies to generate cell lines with extended lifespans that have been sorted based on their genetic information. Cutting-edge methodologies are used to screen cells for viral and microbial contaminations. These cell lines store, ship, and thaw well, with viability and proliferation qualities being maintained under proper conditions.
